CRYSTAL CRUISES
COMPARE CRYSTAL CRUISE WITH OTHER LUXURY CRUISE LINES
We’ve all seen the ad. An elegant waiter wades through crystal clear water
and delivers caviar to a lucky woman lounging on a float. Here’s a little
known secret. That woman could be you. And for less money than you’re
paying for a contemporary cruise now.
If you’re tired of being “nickel and dimed” to death, which seems to be the
norm on most cruises today, consider a luxury cruise where everything is
included in the fare. No more $3 a bottle for water, $6 for wine and mixed
drinks, $25 and up for reservations in the “specialty restaurant”, extra fees
for exercise classes, etc. These charges can total several hundred dollars,
resulting in shock upon receipt of the final bill.
Each line is unique, but all offer the following complimentary amenities:
personal bar setup upon embarkation with soft drinks and water (some
also offer bottles of your favorite wine and premium spirits), designer
soaps and toiletries, Italian linens, twice daily suite service, all non-
alcoholic beverages, open seating at some restaurants, and gourmet
meals to rival any 5-star land-based restaurants.
LUXURY CRUISE LINES
When considering a luxury cruise, look at the value and costs of all of the
extras included in the cruise rate. Add them up and luxury cruises are an
excellent value. The following luxury cruise lines, Crystal Cruises,
Seabourn, Silversea, and Radisson Seven Seas are where you’ll find the
most for your money.
CRYSTAL CRUISES
Crystal Cruises has enjoyed nine consecutive years and eight consecutive
years of being named "Best Large-Ship Cruise Line" by readers of Travel +
Leisure and Condé Nast Traveler magazines (respectively) in their annual
readers' polls. In these polls, readers consistently give Crystal Cruises the
highest marks for food, service and entertainment.
All three ships, Crystal Harmony, Crystal Symphony and Crystal Serenity
have the highest per-guest space ratios of any ships in their class. Over
half of all staterooms feature a private verandah on Crystal Harmony and
Crystal Symphony; 85% of staterooms on Crystal Serenity have a private
verandah. 50,000 ton Crystal Harmony and Crystal Symphony hold 940-
guests while the newest ship in the fleet Crystal Serenity accomodates
1,080 guests at 68,000 tons.
Each stateroom is equipped with a refrigerator, stocked with
complimentary bottled water and soft drinks. You may have alcoholic
beverages delivered to your stateroom by calling Room Service. Butler
Service is available to guests in categories PH, PS and CP.
Special amenities on Crystal Cruises include a full 360-degree,
wraparound open-air teak Promenade Deck for walking and jogging, The
